Ofsted and SIAMS Reports

Ofsted Report

The most recent Ofsted inspection at Saint Gabriel’s College was in November 2018, in which we were judged to be a 'good' school in all areas and outstanding for pupil’s personal development and welfare.

The principal, the senior leadership team and governors have created a culture of aspiration in a warm, caring and inclusive school. As a result, pupils make good progress.

The outstanding provision for pupils’ personal development and welfare ensures that pupils are treated as individuals and become well-rounded young adults. Pupils are confident and well prepared for the next stage of their education.”

SIAMS Report

An ethos of inclusive Christian fellowship in which, regardless of faith background, every individual is valued to the full.

Collective worship is a transformational and binding element in the life of Saint Gabriel’s College. Sensitive thought has been given to make worship accessible to students of all denominations, faiths and no faith. “Worship brings us closer as a school”, said a Muslim student.

The needs of all the students are met in a mindful ethos of trust and generosity.
