GCSE Results 2022
Well done to all Year 11 students who did so well in their GCSE exams! It is particularly pleasing that 30% of students achieved 9-4 grades in the prestigious EBacc range of academic subjects. It is also worth noting that 70% of SGC students from this year group were entered for EBacc compared with a UK average of 40%.
The results are:
- Attainment 8: 43.4
- English & Maths at grade 4 or above: 62%
- English & Maths at grade 5 or above: 38%
- Achieving EBacc with English and Maths at grade 4 or above 30%
- EBacc Average Point Score: 4.12
- English at grade 4 or above: 71%
- English at grade 5 or above: 48%
- Maths at grade 4 or above: 73%
- Maths at grade 5 or above: 46%
